  Rather disappointed really. Rooms reasonable enough, seem fairly modern but small sizes don't help. Old building with single glazed windows=noisy. How noisy? Well on a Tuesday night, with another pub kicking out outside the window it was difficult to sleep much at all! Through the night you could hear doors slamming what with the creaking floorboards meant that sleep was more of an aspiration than a reality. Wasn't even cheap. Pity really, promised so much but failed to deliver

  Went for lunch on a Saturday, tried their new app for ordering and paying for food, it was really good. Didn't even need to get out my seat until I left! Would definitely recommend it.

  Very resonably priced and good variety of food and drink, with food being served until late. Only reason it doesnt get a fifth star is the lack of any music at nights which would help improve the overall atmosphere. But otherwise a good spot for grabbing lunch or to get a bite to eat and a few drinks before going out at the weekend.

  Bit of a wait at the bar to get served. It was busy, but not heaving, and for a period there was little bar staff around, hence the delay. That was the only problem though. The drinks were good, we got some guest ales and at £2.19 a pint the vale is brilliant. Two guys with us had food and both enjoyed what they got. The food was served promptly after the order was taken. Nice clean pub & toilets as well.
